Pharaoh Siamun was the 21st dynasty pharaoh of Ancient Egypt, who ruled from 986 to 967 BCE. He is believed to have been the son of pharaoh Psusennes II and his queen, Mutnodjmet. Siamun is known for his military campaigns against the Libyan and Nubian forces, as well as for his architectural achievements, including the construction and renovation of various temples and shrines throughout Egypt. He was also a patron of the arts, sponsoring the creation of many notable sculptures and paintings. Siamun's reign is often considered a period of stability and prosperity for Ancient Egypt, characterized by a strong central government and expansionist policies. Siamun was succeeded by his son Osorkon the Elder.
